the location was acceptable. it was close to many attractions
the room's condition was not good. the air conditioning was making loud noises, and it blew air directly at the bed. the closet doors did not open properly and this was frustrating

the staff was attentive and personable. i especially appreciated the helpful concierge service. the provided breakfast at alouette was marvelous (i enjoyed the omelets!). the hotel's central location made exploring the city simple.
the hvac system in my room was noisy, interrupting sleep due to frequent cycling.

The shower temperature was a problem. It was cold on my first morning. i told the reception staff, and they said they would tell maintenance. That didn't happen. the next morning, the shower was still cold. pretty poor, really!
