friendly staff valet parking separate bedroom amazing location
i found the staff super friendly and helpful. valet parking was nice, it saved me time. the room had a separate bedroom, it was perfect for travel with my family. the location was amazing, it was close to shops and restaurants.
The gym is in the building next door, this wasn't clear beforehand. It wasn't a major issue! though it would be more convenient within the hotel

The on-site restaurant offered amazing breakfasts. I particularly enjoyed the pastries. there was also a nice selection of teas available. i appreciated the coffee machine with water bottles in the room too.

The hotel sits a short walk from the waterfront station, approximately five minutes. i found several good dining options nearby, including a restaurant right next to the hotel. the location aided convenience a lot. It was ideal.

loud air conditioning closet doors
the location was acceptable. it was close to many attractions
the room's condition was not good. the air conditioning was making loud noises, and it blew air directly at the bed. the closet doors did not open properly and this was frustrating

attentive staff helpful concierge central location
the staff was attentive and personable. i especially appreciated the helpful concierge service. the provided breakfast at alouette was marvelous (i enjoyed the omelets!). the hotel's central location made exploring the city simple.
the hvac system in my room was noisy, interrupting sleep due to frequent cycling.

cold shower poor maintenance
The shower temperature was a problem. It was cold on my first morning. i told the reception staff, and they said they would tell maintenance. That didn't happen. the next morning, the shower was still cold. pretty poor, really!
